1. General terms and conditions
PTV Sweden AB (referred to below as PTV) applies both Sweden’s Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköpslagen) and Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen). To place an order customers must be over 18 years of age or have parental consent. Customer refers to a physical person.
2. Placing an order
Orders for PTV’s products can be placed via www.ptv.se. Orders received will be acknowledged with a written order confirmation sent by email.
An order is only binding on PTV once the customer has received an order confirmation.
PTV reserves the right to refuse a purchase by a customer. All orders are considered binding. If you have placed an order by mistake you must therefore contact us as soon as possible.
All prices are stated inclusive of Swedish VAT, currently 25% (12% on books) and in Swedish kronor (SEK). PTV reserves the right to apply VAT increases and other price changes that are beyond our control. Shipping charges and any cash on delivery fee or invoice fee (where applicable) are additional.
If the item is to be delivered outside the EU, the Swedish VAT will be automatically deducted from your purchase.
Any costs applied by the importing country, located outside of EU, such as custom clearance costs, import tax, VAT etc are the customer´s responsibility. A good tip before you fulfill your purchase is to investigate the circumstances for your country, especially if you are situated in UK after brexit.
Certain items that are vintage or second hand do not have deductable VAT.

4. Payment methods (these vary depending on country selected; the following applies to Sweden)

If swish payment in the web shop is possible for your destination, it will be visible in the shopping cart. Freight cost to your destinated country will also be visible in the shopping cart
We accept Visa and MasterCard. Card payments are made via an encrypted secure connection to Nets Easy/DIBS Payment Services. Freight cost to your destinated country will also be visible in the shopping cart.
Cash on delivery (COD)
Pay at the post office when collecting your package. A COD fee of 145 SEK will be applied. Freight cost will also be visible in the shopping cart.
Pro forma invoice
Payment in advance to PTV:s export account by doing a money bank transfer. There is no additional invoice fee for this payment method. A Pro Forma invoice with payment details (PTV:s Iban number: SE69 6000 0000 0001 3569 7353 + BIC address: HANDSESS) will be emailed to you, and your order will be forwarded as soon as PTV has recieved your payment. ATT: payment of a pro forma invoice directly to PTV with Visa or MasterCard details is not accepted. Eventuall freight cost to your delivery address is not visible in the shopping cart but will be on the pro forma invoice.
Pick-up from PTV
Pay in cash or by Visa/MasterCard in the PTV store when collecting your items. Items must be collected within 10 days unless otherwise agreed. No freight cost added.
Standard delivery from PTV for In stock items is 3–10 working days. For items Available to order the delivery period from the producer is 2–8 weeks depending on the product chosen. These times may vary; in this event we will contact the customer. PTV cannot be held liable if items cannot be supplied because they have sold out or been discontinued.
6. Delivery delays
Should delivery be delayed for any reason we will contact you as soon as possible.
Naturally we will do everything we can to deliver your order as quickly as possible. As a customer, however, you are entitled to cancel the purchase if delivery is considerably delayed.
Situations may arise that make it impossible for us to fulfil an order; for example, if our suppliers cannot meet their commitments to us. PTV reserves the right to disclaim liability for extra compensation to customers in such situations or in the event of delivery delays.
Important: In rare cases the post office loses mail. We do not pay compensation in such cases. Only registered letters and parcels are compensated, after a waiting period of up to 60 days as required by the post office in order to have opportunity to track your consignment. The mayor part of our shipments is sent as registered letters and parcels.
Shipping charges are additional on all orders. The exception is if items are collected from PTV’s store. Shipping charges to all destinations are always shown in the shopping basket except on payment methods: Pick up at PTV or Pro Forma Invoice. For deliveries of parcels within Sweden and Denmark, we ship trackable with PostNord. For deliveries of parcels to the rest of the world, we mainly ship trackable with DHL-express, door to door. Larger items such as furniture, we ship world wide with DHL or DB-Schenker.
We want all our customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchase. If you have a problem with a product, please contact us.Customers are normally responsible for shipping costs to the workshop. Your receipt for payment of the item is your warranty certificate, so always keep your receipt for the duration of the warranty period!
9. Right to cancel/cooling off period
PTV applies the Swedish Distance Contracts Act. This means that as a customer you have the right to return items within 14 days without having to give a reason. The item must be returned in the same condition and in the original packaging. PTV reserves the right to charge the customer if anything is missing, such as the instructions for use. The customer is responsible for the costs of returning the item. Returns sent cash on delivery (COD) will not be accepted.
EXCEPTION: items that are cut and delivered per meter such as weaves, webbing or fabrics etc or furniture upholstered in your choice of material is not included in: Right to cancel/cooling off period
Contact us before returning an item. As soon as we have received the item back, your money will be refunded.
PTV applies the Swedish Consumer Sales Act to claims by customers. This means we undertake to replace incorrect or faulty items at no extra cost. Remember not to accept packages with visible defects that may have affected the condition of the item you ordered. In this event, register a claim with the post office at the collection point or with the courier company, ask them to return the package to PTV and write the reason for the return on the package. Then email email@example.com to inform us of the claim.
11. Unclaimed packages
If you do not collect your package for any reason you must pay the costs of shipping and any COD fee.
Remember that the Swedish post offices will only keep consignments for 14 days before returning them. A fee is charged for unclaimed packages, currently SEK 95. The fee is charged subsequently. If payment is not made the claim is passed to a debt collection service in all cases. No exceptions will be made.
In no circumstances will PTV disclose personal data without the consent of the person concerned. The same also applies to email addresses.
PTV reserves the right not to be bound by errors and omissions in the website content and price list.
Under Sweden’s Electronic Communications Act, which entered into force on 25 July 2003, everyone visiting a website is to be informed if cookies are used. When you visit this website cookies are stored on your computer. These cookies are what are known as session cookies and are used to keep track of your login (if you are logged in) and your shopping basket while you shop. Session cookies are not stored on your computer long-term, but instead disappear when you close your browser.
