1700-talets svenska möbler präglas av funktion kombinerad med enkla sköna former och typiskt svenska träslag såsom björk, al och furu.
Genom ett samarbete mellan Nationalmuseum och ALLINWOOD finns denna kulturskatt bevarad, i form av autentiska kopior av utvalda möbler med sin historia hämtade från Svenska slott och herresäten och kurorter.
Tillverkningen sker nu som då för hand av skickliga möbelsnickare som med stolthet sätter sin signatur i botten tillsammans med märket från Nationalmuseum vilket garanterar äktheten.
Att välja en möbel ur denna kollektion med djupa rötter i 1700-talet handlar inte bara om att vårda ett kulturarv, utan lika mycket om glädjen att få en möbel med skönhet, äkthet och elegans.
AUTENTICITET
Varje möbel har sitt ursprung i en svensk orginalförebild och precis som 1700-talets hantverkare signerade sina alster, har varje möbel ett sigill som garanterar äktheten och hantverket.
MATERIAL
Samtliga produkter är tillverkade i massivträ.
Sarger och ben på stolar har sammanfogats med lim och tappar som låsts med träpluggar.
Stolar för offentligt bruk levererar vi med förstärkning i form av skruvad hörnkloss, om så anges vid beställningen.
Strävan att använda 1700-talets massiva material och konstruktionssätt kan medföra att torrsprickor uppstår i träet på grund av den varma och torra luften i våra bostäder. Sinkade skåpstommar och lådor kan på samma sätt röra sig beroende på förändringar i luftfuktighet och värme.
Detta är i normala fall inte orsak till reklamation.
BEHANDLING
Kvisthål har vi på de omålade produkterna, enligt gammal tradition ej spacklat över utan lämnat synliga.
Likaså märken eller oregelbundheter vid snidade detaljer och partier intill dessa som uppstått vid den hantverksmässiga utsnidningen. |

This cultural treasure is preserved through the cooperation between the Swedish National Museeum of Fine Arts, and furniture manufacturer ALLINWOOD, creating authentic replicas of selected pieces of furniture originating from Swedish castles, manors and salons of fashionable health resorts.

Authenticity
Every single piece of furniture has its origin in a Swedish original model. And just as the craftsmen of the 18th century signed their work, our furniture has their own seal which guarantees authenticity and handicraft.
Material
All our products are made of solid wood. The borders and legs of the chairs are glued together and the pegs/stoppers and are locked by wooden pegs. Chairs for public use are, if noted on the order, delivered with reinforcements. Our ambition is to work with the solid materials and designs
of the 18th century. Since our modern houses and apartements are much warmer and dryer than in the old days, this may sometimes cause cracks in the wood. Due to the same reason framework and drawers in cupboard and cabinets may change somewhat. This is normally no cause for compensation.
Preparation
In accordance with the old tradition the unpainted furniture are left with the knots visible without putty. Cuts, marks and other irregularities found close to the carved details and caused by handicraft are for the same reason left without action.
